Stončica, Vis

At the foot of a hill, surrounded by Mediterranean flora, lies a beach. A sandy bit of land among the cliffs of Vis, with an underwater of sand followed by breathtaking reefs.

The beach is friend to travellers of all ages, as it has sun and shade, rocks and sand. The shallow part is great for the water games often played by the locals, and the sand has seen great games of beach volleyball (just make sure to bring a ball!).

The shallow sandy bit of the sea stretches for a while before the reefs, so the beach is safe for children, too. Sandcastles and swimming by the crystal clear sea.

Mantled in the smell of the pine forest, immortelle flowers and the sea, enjoy the relaxing beauty of Medditeranean nature.

Although Vis is full of small secluded beaches, Stončica welcomes many tourists and locals, so please don’t litter - we want the nature to remain untouched for future travellers to enjoy.

Seek refreshment in the lovely little beach bar, or have something to eat in the family friendly restaurant with great grilled meat and seafood.
